It's been months since Eustace returned from his improvised trip with his cousins to their special world, the place he once believed to be completely imaginary: Narnia. But he still remembers the magic that infused the very air: where once he laughed at Lucy and Edmund for wishing to return, he has now found himself in the same boat. He can barely stand life back at his boarding school. Then, seemingly by chance, Eustace and his friend Jill find themselves flung back into Narnia.

King Caspian has set sail for the End of the world, and the Utter East. Jill and Eustace find themselves charged with finding out what happened to his son, who has been missing since shortly after the death of his mother the Queen. Accompanied by the pessimistic Puddleglum, they set out for the north, to the land of the giants, following clues left by the enigmatic Aslan. A mysterous Green Lady, accompanied by a dark knight, haunt their steps. Can the trio set Narnia back to rights, with the rightful king in his right mine on the right throne? The Silver Chair has the prince in its grip, and time will only tell if Eustace, Puddleglum, and Jill can escape its pull.
